Please Read outline and note END of YEAR activities. Graduation & Awards Function is for the entire school. All students MUST be there. This is a learning experience for them. This is a Formal Occasion and students should learn how to conduct themselves at such function. Please Note: This is the Final Outline for the Term. Have a safe Summer and stay out the sun. Use sun block lotion on your child if he/she going to be in the sun a lot. The sun is good BUT not too much. It is a good source of Vitamin D. Use wisdom like in everything else. It was a GREAT year. I had fun with my students. Let’s ALL pray for each other always. God Bless. God has been good to all of us.
Wednesday: Each child donates $5 for lunch. The class will have a final social in the backyard. Bring your blanket/towel. Dress Down: Jeans and T-Shirts. Questions: See Mrs. Knox
MONDAY: Check if your child is performing at the Graduation ( Choir) June 26 @ 10am
Language: Write 6 sentences about your favorite Television program.
Spelling words: drink, eat, juice, beverage, dinner, supper, vegetables, fruits, recipe, meat, milk. Write word 3x each.
Math: Complete unfinished Pages in Textbook.
TUESDAY: Uniform MUST be worn to school every day. School closes on June 25, 2010.
Math: Continue to work on unfinished Problems in Textbook.
Language: Write 10 sentences about your Father.
Spelling: Write words in A,B,C, order. (Read for 15 minutes)
WEDNESDAY: End of Year Luncheon. Contribution $5. Bring water/juice/snack.
Math: Write your times table 2x – 5x. Study. You need to know these for the future.
Language: Complete unfinished Pages in Language Arts Textbook.
Spelling: Write words 3x each (Read for 15 minutes).
THURSDAY: Make Preparation for Graduation on Saturday @ 10am. BE THERE!!!
Language: Continue to work on unfinished work in Language Textbook.
Math: Complete unfinished work in Textbook.
Spelling: Use words to write sentences. (check Dictionary) Read for 15 minutes.
FRIDAY: ½ Day School. Pick up time 11:45am sharp. Graduation is tomorrow. Be On Time.
The Exam Results are in. Congratulations to all the students. No one failed. All are all meeting Grade Level Standard. However, about two of our students still not Reading and we will work on that. Five of the Grade 1; students did outstanding and a special Congrats to them. It pays to work with and support your child’s education. “It doesn’t’ cost, it PAYS.’

*** GOOD BEHAVIOR is part of your child’s development. This MUST be encouraged at all times.
Uniform: This must be worn daily and must be neat and tidy. Students must be properly groomed for school.

Math: Continue to work on unfinished Pages in Textbook.
Language: Write about your Hero, say why this person is. 1Pg.
Spelling: Write words in ABC, order. (Read for 20 minutes)

Math: Write your tables 2x – 12x. For self improvement. Study you will need to know these for 3rd Grade.
Language: Complete unfinished Pages in Language Arts Textbook.
Spelling: Write words and their meanings. (Use a Dictionary) Read for 20 minutes.
THURSDAY: Make Final Plans for Graduation on Saturday @ 10 am. BE THERE!!!
Math: Review- Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division. Check Textbook.
Read for 20 minutes then share with someone- orally.
FRIDAY: ½ Day School. Pick up your child at 11:45 am sharp. Graduation Tomorrow @ 10am.
The Exam Results are in, Congratulations to All the Second Graders. They all did well. No one failed. They are all meeting Standard and above. Three of the students did exceptionally well and they should be specially congratulated. Check the Notice Board. It pays to work with and support your child’s education. ‘It doesn’t cost, it Pays.’

CHECK: Keep your child academically inclined during the Summer. I suggest that you include academic work over the Summer. This way your child will return ready for the next level. Get the Summer Bridge Book for your child. Level 2-3. Check at Teacher’s Book Store or Book Stores that sell school books.
